Privacy policy

  1. By using RODBUK Cracow Open Research Data Repository, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
  2. The following data shall be collected and processed within the Repository:
  • data provided in the registration form, e.g.: name, affiliation, etc.;
  • information automatically collected on servers, e.g.: IP address, browser data, etc.;
  • cookies – text files sent by the website to your device.
  1. Your consent to the processing of the data referred to in point 2 is voluntary but necessary for the use of the Repository.
  2. The information collected in the Repository shall be used for the quality and safety objectives of the processes performed:
  • administration of the services;
  • adapt the services to the needs of the Users;
  • ensuring the security of the services and data;
  • maintaining the User's session;
  • create viewing statistics for the individual pages of the Repository.
  1. Data collected will be processed for the duration of the operation of the Repository or until the User removes their account from the Repository.
  2. The RODBUK Repository uses the following types of cookies, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the:
  • session (temporary) data stored in the browser's memory, stored for the duration of the session (until the browser is closed);
  • functional (permanent) – data placed in the browser's cache memory, usually remaining there for an extended period of time (unless intentionally deleted). This data is transferred from the User to the server each time the relevant website or application is visited.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the proper operation of websites and to adapt them to the needs of the User;
  • remembering individual settings and preferences of the User;
  • generate statistics for the Repository that make it possible to learn about Users' expectation.

    The Repository uses tools to share content on social networks.
  2. Logging in to the Repository takes place through the Central Authentication System (CAS).
  3. In the event of a change to this Privacy Policy, appropriate information will be posted on the subpage below.
