If, after a dataset has already been published, it becomes clear that it should no longer be publicly accessible due to ethical, legal, or other reasons, either data steward or the depositor can restrict access to the files by deaccessing the dataset.
In such cases, basic information about the removed dataset (the so-called tombstone) remains publicly available, e.g. the citation and the reason for removing data. The full metadata description remains visible only to users with system roles that allow dataset deaccessioning (ACC CYFRONET AGH). The DOI assigned to the dataset at the time of deaccessioning remains active.

Note: A reason for dataset removal must be provided.
