Sharing datasets

Private URLs can be generated for any dataset in Draft or In Review status, even if previously published versions of the dataset exist. To do this, select the Private URL option and generate a link for the person who needs access to the dataset. This function is only available to the data steward with Curator or Administrator privileges (Dataverse version 6.4).
Note: Only one private URL can be configured per specific Dataset.

Right side of the screen – Edit Dataset button – Private URL – Create private URL button. 

It is possible to disable the private URL in a situation where, for example, the link was distributed without the depositor’s consent.
